What People's Say About Place

Great meal of Parmesan Crusted Cod. Nat was our server and took great care of us. Atmosphere is comfortable and open. We went mid-day to purposely not be in crowd due to my health. Price is mid range. We will continue to come here!

Just moved into town and saw this place was highly rated so made it our first place out. Did not disappoint. Place had a great vibe, they had sports (World Baseball Classic) on TV but it didn’t feel like a sports bar. Food was really impressive (really recommend the cheese curds) and the beers we tried were all great. We tore into the food before remembering to take photos but we ordered the Beer can chicken salad, which was a huge portion, and the Chicken Club. Both were amazing. Can’t wait to come back again.

My husband & I celebrated our anniversary there and the food was amazing . We has the pretzel appetizer, the waygu reserve burger, & the chicken schnitzel (first time ever having schnitzel). Everything was delicious and we were so happy with our experience there. Highly recommended!

Tangled Roots Craft Beer & Kitchen offers a welcoming and enjoyable experience, especially for craft beer lovers. The staff are very accommodating, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Their beer selection is impressive, with something for every taste—definitely a highlight of the visit. The food is solid, though a bit eclectic. The menu jumps from Southern-style biscuits and gravy to fish tacos, which can feel a little disjointed but also adds to the variety. Everything we tried was tasty, even if the offerings seem to lack a unifying theme. One important note: they add a 3% surcharge for credit card payments. This isn’t very clearly posted, so it can come as a surprise when the bill arrives. It would be much better if there were a prominent notice on the entrance and on the menu to avoid catching customers off guard.

Food here is amazing and prices are decent for the area. This is the grilled Nashville chicken sandwich was packed with flavor. Been here twice and both were good experiences

Food is delicious. Atmosphere is new, modern, open, and relaxing. We sat outside for lunch on a very nice 80 degree day. Had pulled pork grilled cheese- delicious. Service was polite and professional but a bit slow. Seems like they were short handed even thought not so busy and it took a bit for waiter to return to table to check on things. We would definitely go again and try the beer flight.

They were accommodating and made cod tacos gluten free. They were very good. The chef did add disclaimer that there may be cross contamination. My husband had the Nashville chicken sandwich which he enjoyed. He also said their heffenweizer beer was very good. I would go back, food and service was very good.

The TRoots, the whole TRoots, and nothing but the TRoots: Cookie Skillet dessert with black coffee makes for a good, sugary, Midwest-continental breakfast that's More Sustaining Than Meat. (Okay, okay, Hershey, maybe not _more_ sustaining.) Stir into the coffee a dollop of this treat's caramel-syruped ice cream. Just make sure not to touch the deceptively hot skillet to avoid burning. And the CDBs (Cease & Desist Burgers) and BBQBBs (BBQ Brewmaster Burgers) with tater tots have been consistently good with Buffalo sauce, no aioli required. Service is as excellent as it's always been, going back to this location's grand opening. Notes: (1) In case wifi is spotty due to cable provider Comcast performing maintenance, 5G cellular data still works fine in the SE corner, if not elsewhere, of this eatery. That's the table next to the etched glass facing the parking lot. It's warm there on sunny winter days. (2) Limited bathrooms may matter if imbibing during busy periods. (3) There's a 3% credit card surcharge but a BO($100)GO($50) holiday gift card special is a fabulous seasonal workaround. Buy them with a debit card and then use them to avoid the surcharge. They may also be used to tip. (4) Android OS tech support alert! In case one's receipt has a "HOW ARE WE DOING?" questionnaire link, that link is "simply not a standards-compliant QR code...[although] ios [sic] software just happens to not care," per a Fri, Aug 8, 2025 Reddit post. Some phones running Android 12 or earlier may not be able to "read" that defective QR code from the OS. Install and run a QR code reader app from at least 2023. Trend Micro's 2023 QR Scanner does the trick and is free as well as ad-free. So, too, does Gamma Play's Dec 2025 QR & Barcode Scanner, which is free but contains ads.
